Obituary of BARBARA JOYCE FARNHAM

Barbara Joyce Farnham, 83, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida passed away on Friday, July 29, 2021 after a brief illness. She was born October 9, 1937 in Detroit Michigan to Edwin and Evelyn (Bresnahan) Riess. Mrs. Farnham worked over 25 years for the Detroit Free Press newspaper serving as a copy editor and as the assistant to the executive editor. Barbara is survived by her son Robert Farnham, her daughter Mary Ellen, her grandchildren Cristina, Brooke, John Paul, Ashley and great-grandson Cayden Family will receive guests Monday August 2, 2021 from 4-5 pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation 101 Mary Esther Blvd, Mary Ester, FL 32569 where Funeral Services will be held at at 5pm. Memorialization after will be by cremation. Placement of her cremated remains will be held at a future date at Beal Memorial Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
