Obituary of Stephen lashley willis

Stephen Lashley Willis age 80 passed away on Monday August 8, 2022 at his home in Pensacola, Florida. Stephen was born in Asheville North Carolina on November 27, 1941, to the late Loyd Stephen Willis and Martha Alice McCall. Mr. Willis was a veteran of the United States Navy. He served as a deep-sea diver and Bosom Mate for 23 years. After retirement he settled in Pensacola, Florida where he met and married his current wife, Marlene Willis. Stephen's greatest enjoyment in life was singing karaoke at home or at the Women's Club of Pensacola, where his wife was a member. Stephen was an extraordinary human being. He was much loved by everyone that knew him and will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Sandra Marek and is survived by one son Scott Stephen Willis. Also surviving one stepson, Billy Joe Williams, stepdaughters Catherine Williams, Christine Williams and Kenberley (James) King and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Family-Funeral & Cremation 5627 N. Davis Hwy, Pensacola, FL 32503 followed by internment at 1:30 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, FL 32508. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Women's Club of Pensacola, 1551 E Heinberg Street Pensacola, Florida.
