On March 10, 2022, ALFRED FRANKLIN STEVENS, JR., devoted husband, and loving father to five children passed away at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola. He was 73. He preferred to be called Frank, or as many of his former employees called him - Don Pancho. Though he was born in Wichita Falls, Texas he spent several of his formative years in South America where he became fluent in Spanish. This particular talent for language was just one of the many skills he brought to his everyday life. His military service was proudly in the Marine Corp and their motto of “SEMPER FIDELIS’ became his way of living life and conducting business. When Frank met someone, they became a friend for life and often a real part of his family. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Edith, and is survived by his wife, Cynthia and his children, Steve, Nikki, Jamie, Margaret, and Candice. His grandchildren, Tiffany, Kayla, Joseph, Bryce, Jaicee, Jonah and Dalton. He is also survived by his sister, Dierdre Stevens of Washoe Valley, Nevada. For years Frank traveled the east coast with his business of elevated water tank and tower restoration, painting, and maintenance; however, in 2015 he retired to Pensacola to be close to his children. Wherever Frank’s work took him from Maine to Florida, even to Michigan and Ohio, his fun-loving personality, crazy sense of humor, and ethical way of doing business earned him respect and repeat invitations to bid for multiple contracts of service - both in the private sector and with military contractors. Again, his motto of “SEMPER FIDELIS’ was always very real and very personal. Frank chose not to have a formal “leave-taking” as the most important part of him was his family and that meant a family dinner, steak and ice cream cake was his favorite. Each time the family meets they will honor, cherish, and remember what a truly amazing man he was. His faith in Jesus as his personal Savior was strong and gave him peace and hope for a brighter future.
