Obituary of Thomas jerome byrd, ii

Thomas Jerome Byrd II, 54, of Alford, Florida, went to heaven Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Covent Care Hospice, Pensacola Fla. He passed peacefully in his sleep. He is survived by his mother Gwilda Dene Byrd; his sister Tangi Marie West; daughter Jessica Phillips, nieces Melissa Buckner and Emerald Armstrong, nephews Migual Del Cueto, and James Starling, and ten great grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father Thomas Jerome Byrd I in 2020, nephews Diamond Armstrong in 2004; and Jade Armstrong in 2020. He was born in Orange County, California, on January 19, 1967. Better known as Tj by his family and friends worked as a roofer and was handy at building anything. He was a member of the Family of God Baptist Church. He believed in God and loved Jesus. He wanted everyone to meet Jesus and loved sharing his testimony of Gods glory in his life. Tj went out of his way to help others that were homeless. In remembrance of him the family asked that you listen to the song by Casting Crowns “Scars in Heaven” and to love one another, life is way too short.
