Obituary of richard ray stover
Richard Ray Stover, 83, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. He was born in Palmyra, PA on December 30, 1936 to George Amos Stover and Helen Margaret Knoll.
After Richard graduated from high school he enlisted in the United States Navy. He served honorably for twenty-six years retiring as a Master Chief Petty Officer. He graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and worked for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for seventeen years as a forensic technologist.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years Anne; three sons, David (Erin), Timothy (Amy) and James (Megan); as well as four greatly-loved grandchildren, Chase, Morgan, Sarah and Carson.
He will be laid to rest with full Military Honors in Barrancas National Cemetery on November 23, 2020. He loved his family with all his heart and he will live in our hearts forever.
