Obituary of sara hornig parmer

Sara Hornig Parmer, 48, of Pensacola, FL, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020. Ms. Parmer is preceded in death by her mother, Connie Heinze Hornig. She is survived by her children, Lyndon Parmer and Samuel Parmer of Pensacola, their father, Gregory Parmer of Indianapolis; parents, Edward and Sandra Hornig of Auburn, AL; brother, Nathan (Cheryl) Hornig of Penfield, NY; sisters, Joanna Hornig of Auburn and Lori (Kevin) Thomas of Auburn; niece, Claire Thomas; special companion, Robert Powers of Pensacola, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Ms. Parmer was a respected educator in the Escambia County School System for almost 20 years. She loved being a mother and enjoyed people, her dogs, and life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Godspeed, Sara. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Pensacola Hotel for Dogs and Cats Adoption and Rescue Service.
