Obituary of howard william owens

Howard William Owens, 76, Gulf Breeze, Florida, passed away after a long battle with COPD on 8/2/2020. Howard was born in Columbus, Indiana on 5/4/1944 to Donald and Virginia Owens. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1962. He married Angela Sprague Owens on 3/1/1972. He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Cinergy/Duke Energy as a storeroom keeper/line crew helper in 2002 and he and his wife moved to Gulf Breeze, Florida that year. He was a member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars and The American Legion. Howard is survived by his wife, Angela; son, Jason (Stephanie); his brother, James (Heide); grandchildren, Dalton and Ramsay; along with cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Virginia. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida by Family Funeral and Cremation.
