Obituary of edna mary beard

Edna “Cookie” Beard passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 31, 1945. Her biggest loves, besides her grandchildren and great grandchildren, was Elvis Presley and southern cooking. She loved being with her family and friends singing and dancing. She loved her family and took the utmost pride in being a Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She will forever be loved and missed and the beautiful memories that she has left will live on forever. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Edward Ritz Beard, who will be waiting at the gates of heaven for his beloved wife. She is survived by daughters, Diana Spink and Kristine Gammons; son, Edward Beard Jr.; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 with visitation at 6:00 - 7:00 pm, service at 7:00 pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 7253 Plantation Road, Pensacola, Florida 32504.
