Obituary of Benjamin Lawrence Blount

Benjamin Laurence Blount, 90 of Pensacola, Florida, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. He was born in Walnut Hill, Florida on April 14, 1929 to Hugh L. and Evelyn B. Blount. He graduated from Ernest Ward High School in 1945. He married Sylvia I. Hudson in 1951. He retired from Air Products after 40+ years, and was a baptized Jehovah’s Witness for 70 years. He was a licensed contractor for many years. Benjamin is survived by his wife, Sylvia Blount; his brother, Frank Blount; his daughter, Miriam (Chris) Yarbrough; his daughter, Teressa (David) Doman; his grandchildren, Tara Yarbrough, Sean (Deanna) Yarbrough, Jonathan (Ciara) Doman and his great granddaughter, Kynslie Martin-Doman. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 3:00 pm at East Hill Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6100 Lanier Drive, Pensacola, Florida 32504.
