Obituary of hugh david lucas

Hugh David “Dave” Lucas, 86 went home to be with the Lord on October 6, 2019. He was married to Linda (Duckworth) Lucas on August 29, 1980 nearing 40 years of marriage. Dave was born June 20, 1933 in Medina Ohio to Hugh & Harriett (Jones) Lucas. He graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor in Entomology and went on to serve his country as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Marines. He was an avid gardener, fisherman and had a love of sports. He was also a successful real estate agent and entrepreneur. Dave is preceded in death by his parents; son, Steven Paul Lucas; stepdaughter, Donna Lynn Galloway and granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Lucas. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Linda; children, David (Anne) Lindy, Hope (Thomas) Moore, Lisa (Wade Thomas) Galloway and Corey Lucas; his six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 4:00 at Brownsville Church, 3101 W. DeSoto St., Pensacola, FL 32505.
