Obituary of susan virginia bass dean

On Tuesday, August 6, 2019, Susan Virginia Bass Dean, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 83 in Pensacola, Florida. Susan was born on November 29, 1935 in Milton, Florida to Edith and Cecil Bass. She is survived by her children, Hugh (Ski), Mark and Cathy Neighbors; grandchildren, Ryan, Robert, Matthew and Hannah Neighbors; great-grandchildren, Spencer and Mylissa Neighbors and nieces and nephews, Carrie, Debbie, Rusty, Jonathan and Bonnie Lou. Susan lived a full life, often times on her own terms. She grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and attended Choctawhatchee High School. Susan had a love for the arts, played the piano and loved the Lord with all her heart. She was the oldest of four sisters, whom she helped raise. Susan lived and cared for all who needed help. She loved to be with her family, read, cook and attend church. She will be missed by all. “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” John 14:1-3 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
