Obituary of DONALD PATRICK LOFTUS

GYSGT Donald Patrick Loftus, U. S. Marine Corp. (Ret.), 82, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Endicott, New York on February 27, 1937. GYSGT Loftus served his country with honor for 21 years, including one tour in Vietnam. He is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Gertrude (Cahill) Loftus and infant daughter, Anne Marie. He is survived by the love of his life of 56 years, Elena (Di Bartolo); his son, Patrick (Bonnie) of Biloxi, Mississippi and his daughter, Christina (Thomas) Kellenberger of Pensacola, Florida; his grandchildren, Annemarie and Thomas Kellenberger; two brothers, four sisters, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.. The family gives sincere thanks to the staff of Sacred Heart Hospital, ICU and Spiritual Care.
