Obituary of LEVI G. hARMON

Levi G. Harmon, 88, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Levi was born on July 28, 1930 in Champion, Nebraska to parents, George Harmon and Marita Munson. He joined the United States Navy at 21 years old and while stationed in Hawaii, met his wife, Alice. After the Navy, he became a high voltage electrician and worked at the Pearl Harbor Ship Yard. He transferred to Pensacola in 1968 and retired from Civil Service at Pensacola Naval Air Station in 1985. His family was the most important thing in his life. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Alice Harmon. Levi is survived by his only child, a daughter, Candace (Kurt) Harmon Klinglesmith; grandsons, Kyle Klinglesmith and Lee (Melissa) Klinglesmith and two great-grandsons, Connor and Cooper. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 4:00-5:00pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 7253 Plantation Road, Pensacola, Florida 32504.
