Obituary of Larry Lagos

Larry Lagos of Pensacola, Florida passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at the age of 70 in West Florida Hospital after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born November 23, 1948 in Pensacola, FL to Eugene and Ruby (Crooke) Lagos. Larry was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps. After his time in the military, Larry did construction work and was a roustabout on an offshore oil rig. Larry spent his leisure time fishing, reading his Bible, and spending time with friends. He never married or had children but he was a devoted family man to his extended family. Larry was preceded in death by his loving parents; step-father, George “Dink” McWilliams; three brothers, George Lagos, Robert McWilliams and Robbie McWilliams; and three sisters, Barbara (Lagos) Ard, Sandra (McWilliams) Stephens, and Cheryl (McWilliams) Fine. Larry is survived by his brother, Bill Lagos; sister, Karen (Lagos) Nelson and numerous loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Service details will be announced at a later date.
