Obituary of Jacquelyn Wynn Jackson

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Jacquelyn Wynn Jackson, known to most of us as “J.J.” or “Jackie”. She was 57 years of age at her unexpected departure from this world on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Santa Rosa Medical Center in Milton, Florida. Jackie was a woman with an amazing capacity to make everyone feel loved. She had a special gift of making people happy and she lit up every room she ever entered. She poured her heart and soul into her family and asked very little in return. Jackie’s home was her very special place. She didn’t save money very well, but she sure saved everything else. She was loved very much and we will miss her always. Jackie was born in Heidelberg, Germany on August 6, 1961, to John Warren Jackson and Lavonne Maurice Wells. She was previously married to Joel Wayne Lukens. At the time of her passing, she was married to Edward C. Slavin, although they had been estranged for many years. Jackie is survived by her lovely daughter, Mandi Traylor and her wonderful son, Joel Wayne Lukens, Jr. She has four surviving grandchildren from Mandi Traylor: Christian Leo Traylor, Alaynna Traylor, Clara Traylor and Caroline “Rosie” Traylor.
