Obituary of Jay Edward Porter

Jay E. Porter, 67, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 28th, 2018. Jay was born in Canton, Ohio on June 12, 1951. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Eugene Porter and his mother, Harriet F. Porter. Jay was wonderful husband of 41 years to Donna Horton Porter and he attended Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. Jay loved cooking for his family and he enjoyed the Steelers and the Braves. Jay is survived by his wife, Donna Horton Porter; sons, Joseph Brouhard of Theodore, Alabama and Micah J. Porter of Palm Harbour, Florida; daughter, Jennifer Hazuga of Madison, Alabama; 16 grandchildren ranging from the age of 3 months to 24 years and a great-grandchild, Braxton Stine of Manbank, Texas.
