Obituary of LuAnn Erlene Ackerman Ravenscraft Carroll

LuAnn Erlene Ackerman Ravenscraft Carroll, 71, of Lillian, Alabama went home to the Lord on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 10:41 pm. LuAnn was born in Bloomington, Illinois on August 24, 1946 to Emanuel Benjamin Ackerman and Etta Schaer Ackerman. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, her brother, Robert E. Lee (Mary) Ackerman of Detroit, Michigan and her first husband, Robert Evans Ravenscraft III of Lillian, Alabama. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Earl Carroll of Lillian, Alabama; son, Robert (Bobby) E. Ravenscraft, III; daughter, Lynne Ellen (Ken) Wassman of Foley, Alabama; grandsons, Drew Wassman and Ryan Wassman, great-grandchildren, sisters, LaRae Ackerman (Donald) Kutzner of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Lynne Ackerman Anderson (Ralph) Rausch of Coloma, Michigan and many nieces and nephews. LuAnn will be remembered as a funny and loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother whose sense of humor and unforgettable laugh were so infectious she could brighten even the darkest space!
