Obituary of Gerald Franklin Perritt

Gerald Franklin Perritt, 80, of Pace, Florida, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018.Gerald was born on February 23, 1937, in Pace, Florida. Gerald lived a long, full life. He enjoyed "pickin and grinnin" with friends and family, cooking, fishing, socializing and he loved the Lord. He served his country in the Air Force, was a police officer for the City of Pensacola, deputy with Escambia and Santa Rosa counties and various other gigs until ultimately "The Tree Ape". One of ten children, Gerald leaves behind three brothers; Paul (Carol), Joe (Brenda) and Larry (Jan); two daughters, Nina Chestnut and Melissa Perritt; a son, Frankie Perritt; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, numerous friends and extended family. Celebration of Life Memorial Visitation will be held at Family-Funeral & Cremation from 1:00 -3:00 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2018.
