Obituary of Genevieve T. McLean

Genevieve Therese “T.C.” McLean, 82, was born on June 30, 1935 in Chicago, IL to Elizabeth & Patrick Byrne of County Down, Ireland. “T.C” received her training as a registered nurse from St. Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. The many facets of her amazing 50-year nursing career included: Emergency Room, Labor & Delivery (Sacred Heart Hospital), CCU-Level 2 (West Florida Hospital), Pensacola Cluster Facility, and Covenant Hospice. Her medical mission travels to Ecuador were the highlights of her gifted career in nursing. She was a humanitarian who left her mark of love and compassionate care on all she touched to inspire to love the Lord. “T.C.” is survived by her son, Sam Perry III; daughter, Debra (Christopher Howard) Ciano; grandchildren, Mark (Jillian) Ciano II, Rio (Mark) Melancon; great-grandchildren Tristen, Veda and Nash and sister Celene Brooks along with many nieces and nephews. The family sends their love and gratitude to all the staff members at Bayside Health and Rehab Center and Emerald Coast Hospice for their loving care and support. Memorial Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 26, 2018 at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 7253 Plantation Road, Pensacola, Florida 32504.
