Just heard about this, very depressing! I knew Jim (and his entire immediate family) as early as the mid-1970's when they first moved to Texas. He and I met in junior high school and almost all my "childhood memories", such as they were, revolve around this unique individual and his brother (now deceased as well) and his surviving sister Anita. I wish we had been in touch all those subsequent years, but then again, no matter how many years later, you don't forget someone like Jim...and I never shall, either :(
