Obituary of Gerald Wayne Penick

Gerald Wayne Penick, 74, passed away on March 16, 2023, surrounded by his children.  Gerald was born to Robert and Alice Penick on February 7, 1949.  He was a highly intelligent and resourceful man who was a jack of many trades.  Of all, his most loved occupation was training thoroughbred racehorses for more than 20 years.  

Gerald is preceded in death by his father, mother, and sisters, Merrie Penick and Judy Wyatt.  He is survived by his brother, Edward Penick; sister, Donna Matise; children, Angela Marnett, Rachel Culberson, Felicia McGhee, and Joshua Penick; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
