Obituary of Joseph Russo

Joseph Russo, 67, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 at his home. Joseph was a Pensacola local, he attended Pensacola Catholic Highschool. After graduation; Joseph served his country in the United States Army, and later went on to earn his Masters in Psychology from the University of Hawaii. Joseph spent his career helping others, insuring their health, and well-being. He was well loved by his neighbors and friends, and will be dearly missed by all those who truly knew him.

He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Melissa Russo; father, Ernie Russo Sr; and brother, Ernie Russo Jr.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his mother, Rita Montgomery; sister, Rita Nowling; Aunt, Janice Sekenski; Niece, Jena Troxler; cousins, Kim Sekenski and Richard Sekenski; great-nieces, Sydney Troxler and Adilyn Troxler; great nephews, Nicholas Troxler, and Finn Troxler; as well as a few close friends and neighbors.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St Paul Catholic Church on Friday May 19 2023 at 11:00 am followed by a burial at Bayview Memorial Park in Pensacola, FL.
