Obituary of Christopher Thomas Churchill

Christopher Thomas Churchill, age 50, of  Freeport, Florida passed away peacefully on June 2, 2023.  Chris was born on May 9, 1973 in Oak Harbor, Washington.  He was preceded in death by  his mother, Diana Boyle Kinney and leaves behind his loving parents, Wayne and Cindy Churchill of Freeport, Florida.

Chris was blessed to have a very large family with 4 sisters, Jenny Rivers of Wauconda, Illinois, Noel Hennessy of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, Lisa Churchill of Elkhorn, Wisconsin and Ericka Calamia of Huntersville, North Carolina; son, Joshua Murray (Yvonne) of Killeen, Texas; daughters, Gabrielle Gritmacker and  Abigail Gritmacker of Iron River, Michigan and grandson, Sage Gritmacker; daughter, Kaitlyn Salmon (Greg) and grandaughters, Chloe and Kyleigh of Broadway, North Carolina.  Also, Andrew Aurand who was as close as a son that any man could be.  Nieces and nephews include Savannah Rivers, Julia Rivers, Maggie Oliveira, Marissa (Michael) Shearer, Lauren Miller, Anthony MIller, Anna Churchill and Jillian Calamia.

Chris was previously employed at Latta Plumbing in Gardendale, Alabama for several years and won many awards within the company  for exemplary sales and service work.  Chris was an accomplished artist and avid outdoorsman.

A Celebration of Life is planned for the Fall of 2023.  Further details to follow.
