Obituary of Robert Lester Brown

Robert Lester “Bob” Brown, 87, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL passed away peacefully on July 8th 2023. 

 He was born to Robert Brown and Margaret Aspray in Piedmont, SC on June 6th 1936. Bob served in the US Navy during the Korean War. After discharge he began a long career in sales. He traveled and lived in many places, had many adventures and never, ever met a stranger! 

When he wasn’t working, Bob enjoyed golf, poker, sports and going out for a nice meal. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Kay Brown; daughter, Angie Acker; son-in-law, Frankie of Moore, OK; stepdaughter, Shelly Swanger; and daughter-in-law, Linda Gudnason of Daphne, AL; stepdaughter, Gennie Link of Clemson, SC as well as two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many cousins.

 

He is proceeded in death by his parents Robert Brown and Margaret Aspray as well as his son Kirk Brown.
