Obituary of Charles Edward Taylor

Charles E Taylor was born in Buffalo, NY at Booth Memorial Hospital to Jackie Taylor and Charles Magby, both from Buffalo, NY.

Charles attended Kensington Prep High School. After graduation, he joined the US Navy. Soon after he met Robin Henley (Cole), and two years later, along came baby Charles, affectionately known as “CJ.” In 2002 he made the move to Pensacola, FL along with his sister, Deneen and her family. Charles decided to replant his roots in Pensacola and call it home.

Chuckie is survived by his son, Charles Prentis Taylor, sister Deneen Taylor, nieces, Keyona, Jasimine (Concepción), Angela, Jackie, and Darlisha. Nephews, Louis, and Nathaniel (Chervona), as well as 8 great nephews, and 3 great nieces. He leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

 

A service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 with a visitation at 12:00 PM and a service at 1:00 PM at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 5627 N. Davis Highway, Pensacola, Florida 32503.
