Truman passed away peacefully on July 18,2023. He always hoped to live to age 100, and although he did not quite make it, he packed in at least 100 years of life in his 92 1/2 years. He loved music and playing his favorite songs with his friends. He enjoyed going to Atmore and Biloxi as often as he could to play the slot machines and enjoy the buffet. Most of all he loved his family - including his wife, children, grandchildren, Lauren, and Cocoa. He also greatly cherished his friends. Truman was a good person, a kind person. He had unwavering faith in God and looked to the Lord to get him through the trials he faced. Truman endured many challenges and illnesses, and he came out on top time after time. We said he was "bullet proof," as nothing kept him down for very long. He had an almost child-like love of life and adventure until the end. We are glad that he had his faith, his joy at living each day, and a peaceful death without suffering as he passed into the loving arms of Christ. We will miss him. Rest in sweetest peace, Truman. "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die..." John 11:25-26
