Obituary of Ricky Dale Willig

Ricky Willig, 71, of Fort Walton Beach, FL passed peacefully on Monday, October 9th, 2023.

Ricky was born in Waxahachie, TX on October 27th, 1952 to Elsie and Frederick Willig.  He married Narcisa Willig in 1976.

Ricky led a full military carreer, serving in the United States Air Force while stationed in various air bases throughout the world.  He had a curiousity about the world and technology and could always be found messing with the newest electronics and computer parts.  He was also a voracious reader of sci-fi and fantasy novels, with frequent visits to used bookstores looking for the next great imaginary world to get lost in, and of course he always loved a good dad joke.  He was a dreamer and a tinker but, more importantly, he was a husband, a son, and a father.  He will be missed.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Narcisa Willig, as well as his children, Alan, Jeffrey, and Jennifer.
