Obituary of Suzanne McCarron Mager

Suzanne "Suzy" McCarron Mager of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on November 27, 2023, after a long illness. Suzy was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 24, 1946. In 1958, Suzy moved to Pensacola with her family; she graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School in 1964.  

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 47 years, Randy Mager, parents, John & Louise McCarron, older sister Pat McCarron, younger brother John McCarron, brother-in-Law Sam Viviano, and niece Kady Viviano.

She is survived by a large and loving family; her children: Kerry Langley (John), Lisa Smith (Randy), Gail Holmes (Laura), and Jeff Mager (Karen); her grandchildren: Kirsten Langley (Alison), Shaun Langley, Michael Smith, Jackson Smith, Kyle Mager, Kole Mager, and Kaleb Mager; her great grandchildren Kinsley Langley, Kai Langley, and Charli Langley; her sister Frances McCarron Viviano, and a very special soulmate/friend of 50+ years Susan B. McMahon.

Suzy is also survived by her in laws Steve and Wanda Mager, Mark and Elaine Mager; and nieces and nephews: Francey Williams (Mike), Dina Phillips (Dave), Lori Fernandez (Stephen), Brian Mager (Gretchen), Laura Mager, Tom Biehn (Emily), Michelle Purvis (Alan), and Melissa Valarezo (Rick).

Suzy's family wishes to extend their sincerest thank you to Nurse Carol McGhee with Covenant Hospice and Caregiver Kathy Nelson.

Suzy will be entombed at a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, Suzy and her family request that you make a donation to Covenant Hospice or the animal-related charity of your choice.
