Obituary of Gregory Paul Damro

Gregory Paul Damro, 74, of Holt, Florida passed away in Pensacola, Florida on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Greg was born to Clifford Paul Damro and Bonita Marie Laux in Appleton, Wisconsin on April 9, 1949.  “Dick” Damro worked his whole adult life as an airplane mechanic, specializing in small aircrafts. He owned and operated Aero Mech in Natchitoches, Louisiana for several years. He also worked many years in Alaska and Florida.

Dick is survived by his wife, Joy Dietzel Damro; his son, David Damro (Shar); grandchildren Olivia and Avery; his sister, Kathy Callan (Rich); and his brothers Paul and Cliff Damro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Bonita Damro; as well as his brother, Mark Damro.

A celebration of life will be held for Dick on Saturday, December 16, 2023, with family visitation starting at 2:00pm and services starting at 3:00pm at Family – Funeral & Cremation; 5627 N Davis Hwy Pensacola, Florida 32503

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to the donor’s choice of charity in Dick’s name.
