Obituary of Kiesha Taylon Mandel

Kiesha Taylon Mandel, 48, of Pensacola, FL., has left us to paint the sky pink on December 30, 2023.  Born on April 10, 1975, in sunny Pensacola. Proceeded in Death by her father, Henry Mandel III and Grandparents, Vera and Henry Mandel Jr. Her Survivors include, Sons, Christian Mandel and Christopher Gerlits Jr, Mother, Roberta Ward, Brother, Nathan Ward, significant other, Oscar Dorris, Nieces, Hannah, Destany, Aryanna, and Bella. Nephews; Jacob and Jonathan. Special Family and Friends, Heather (Jon) Mcarthur, James (Leila) Parker, Amber Dorough, God Daddy Garry, and Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends whom all held a special place in her heart. 

 

Kiesha brought joy and laughter to those around her with her vibrant personality and infectious energy. Keisha was the life of the party. You could always spot her in something hot pink, making a bold statement wherever she went. 

 

Kiesha was a devoted mother to her two boys. She loved them more than anything and she was their biggest cheerleader in life. When life and health took a turn for Kiesha in 2019 Chris Gerlits, her Son's Father took on the rearing of the boys and Kiesha was so very Thankful as she knew the boys were in the best hands and would be raised well. 

 

Kiesha's legacy of loyalty, love, and unfiltered honesty will forever be cherished. The family would like to thank all those involved in Kiesha's care at Baptist Hospital and Hospice. Also, a special thanks to  Brother Franky and Family-Funeral & Cremation for services and arrangements.

 

Please join us in celebrating Kiesha's life at a memorial service on Sunday January 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Family- Funeral and Cremation 5627 North Davis Hwy.
