Obituary of Christine Diane Cox-Green

Christine Diane Cox-Green, age 49, of Gulf Breeze, Florida  passed away at her home on Thursday, January 11, 2024.

Christine was born in Selma, Alabama on September 17, 1974 to James H. Cox III (Jim) and Mitzi Williams.  She is survived by her parents; stepmother, Leigh Cox; brothers, James H. Cox IV (Beau) and Adam and Koren Cox; niece, Cora Cox; nephews, Brody and Austin Cox; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Major James H. Cox, Deska C. Cox, Douglas G. and Patty C. Williams.

Chris had an adventurous spirit and was always willing to try new things.  She had a desire to learn as much as she could.  She had her dad's knack of being able to fix anything broken.  She could repair everything from computers to alternators.

Chris loved exploring rocks, minerals and archeology.  She self-taught herself to do so many things and was always determined to become better.

Chris loved movies of all types from the old ones to the new ones and memorized every scene, every actor, every little detail.  Who needs to watch a movie when Chris could tell you every detail and make you feel as if you had seen it.

Beautiful and talented, you left us way too soon.  You will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved you.  We were not ready, but you are in a better place.  Until we see you again, we love you Chris.
