Jacquelin Margaret Corby 96
Jackie was born in New Jersey November 25, 1927, the daughter of Ralph and Margaret
Foran Norwood and died January 27, 2024, Pensacola, Florida, surrounded by her
daughters and sons-in-law.
Raised in Winthrop, Massachusetts, she graduated Winthrop High School 1945. She
married Phil Corby in 1947 and they lived at Wildwood Lake at Northampton for many
years. She drove Bus 23 for the Riverhead School District and also performed in many
Riverhead Lions Club shows along with her then husband Phil Corby.
In 1972, Jackie returned to Winthrop, Massachusetts. Her daughter Pam and
granddaughter Jackie joined her in 1985. In 1997, they moved to Pensacola, Florida, to
be near Penny and family. For many years, Jackie and her daughters were members of
Sweet Adelines and Pensacola Sound Chorus.
Gypsy Jackie would drive to Maine to visit her daughter Paula and family twice a year
and would have a song for every state she traveled through.
Jackie is survived by her daughters, Paula and Kip Fick of Garland, Maine, Pam
Greuling of Pensacola, Florida, Penny and Doug Francisco of Pensacola, Florida.
Grandchildren, Ethan and Regina Fick of Garland, Jacquelin (Greuling) and George
MacFarlane of Orlando, Florida, Jake and Kayla Fick of Exeter, Maine, Ray Francisco
and Ashley Wood of Fairhope, Alabama.
Great Grandchildren, Rebecca and Matt Hubbell of Hermon, Maine, Bubba and Taylor
Fick of Norridgewock, Maine, Seth Fick of Garland; Lincoln Fick of Exeter, Brianna
Marianne MacFarlane of Orlando, Wyatt Fick of Exeter, Leland Wood and Rachel Wood
of Fairhope.
Great Great Granddaughters, Evangeline Hubbell, Natalie Hubbell, Annabella Fick,
Sereia Hubbell, Penelope Rose Fick.
Three nieces and four grandnieces.
Jackie was predeceased by her brother Scott Coffin and her grandson Peder Fick.
Jackie will be buried in Maine in the Summer.
