Obituary of Jamesina Strain Garske

On the 5th of May 2024, my Mum, Ina Garske went home to our Lord and Savior. Born on Christmas day in 1936 to James and Sarah Todd in Glasgow, Scotland, she grew up on the South side of Glasgow in the Gorbals with her parents and brother Tommy. She later met my Father Terry in Dunoon, Scotland where he was stationed and married soon after. Upon his early passing, Mum moved in with my sister Sharon and her family to end up in Houston, Texas. Following the passing of my sister, Mum moved in with my family and I. She was soon diagnosed with dementia and fought till the end. She will be sorely missed. I am very grateful to the hospice staff who guided her through her transition. I am deeply saddened but ever joyous that she is with all her loved ones before her. Till we meet up high.
