Obituary of Shane Jarski

Curtis “Shane” Jarski of Fort Walton Beach, Florida went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 17, 2024.

He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on March 27, 1971. Shane had recently opened his own business “Southern Grounds Landscape and Palm Trees.” His new business was thriving. Shane was a fisherman. If he didn’t have a saw in his hand then he had a fishing pole. Shane could filet fish with his eyes closed. He”d also carry a 40lb fish on his motorcycle. Shane had quite the talent when it came to fishing.  He was "Chief of all apache indians" and he made sure everyone knew it.

Shane is survived by his son, Cole Jarski; best friend and wife of many years, Cathy Jarski; father, Chuck Edwards; niece, Hailey Heagerty; brothers, Steve Kavalesky, Clint Finkley and Laney Bishop; Sister, Elizabeth Ashline.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Susan Strength.

Shane was a family man and enjoyed time with his cousins, Sam, Gennie, Brittany, Austin, Aaron and Blake.

 Funeral arrangements will be scheduled at a later time.
