All Michael talked about was his granddaughters. well,.. them & rest of family & cooking. He whipped out a picture of those girls every day. he said they kept him alive. i only knew him for a few months. Michael, i sure hope you kept working on you. i hope you were able to mend your fences & were able to enjoy your family. Sara, thank you so very much for talking to me when i bothered you at work. sorry about that. if it makes any difference, i completely stopped drinking, not ONE drop of alcohol at all, since Nov 29, 2022. i really admired how you handled things every time you visited your dad. your words had such love & strength, i really admired how you handled each situation that came up. i think about all of Michael's family often. i wish all of you happiness in your pursuits & peace in your hearts. -Lee Ann

Michael W. Mitchell l
Michael Mitchell was born on August 20th 1965 to Donald W. Mitchell and Elva R. Mitchell in Maryland. Michael enjoyed many things in this life, his garden, his love for cooking, and his family.
Michael leaves behind his spouse of 35+ years (Lora) daughter Sara Mitchell,and two sons Donald Mitchell and Michael W Mitchell ll. He also leaves behind his two beautiful granddaughters, Allyson and Cheyanne.
He is Proceeded in Death by both parents, both sets of grandparents, Brothers JD, Donnie Jr. And David.
Michael faught a lot of battles in his life. But one thing he remained strong on was his support of his family. He would give the shirt of his back to anyone who needed it. He will forever be known as " Big Mike, Uncle Mike, and Dad".
Rest in peace uncle Mike. We love you.
