Laurie was a great friend to so many. She will be missed but not forgotten. She absolutely hated storms we had been at Vortex Springs and she was going to drive us home in my stick shift truck because I had sprung my ankle and it was difficult for me to drive . While driving down interstate 10 it started storming and she just stopped right in lane on the interstate I asked her what she was doing and she responded with I can’t see. I told her if you can’t see what happens when someone comes up behind us and can’t see us you have to at least pull over. Convinced her to drive over to the side of the road and then I proceeded to drive us home.
May you find comfort in beautiful moments and memories of Laurie. She was an amazing lady who welcomed me like family from the first time I met her. She will be truly missed by so many.
