Obituary of David Randall Holly

David Randall Holly, 64, of Crestview, Florida, passed away on July 20th, 2024, after a long battle with colon cancer. 

Dave was born on January 28th, 1960, to his loving parents, Ronald and Barbara Holly, in Dover, Delaware. 

Dave served and retired from the US Air Force from 1980 to 2000 at the rank of Master Sergeant. During David's Air Force Service he was deployed twice to the Gulf War.  After starting his 19 year career with Lockheed-Martin he was deployed to Afghanistan five times as Team Manager for Ground Troop Support.

 When he was not traveling the world working, he loved firing up the grill while having a few beers. He would also have a great laugh regaling his friends and family about his crazy stories and life experiences. The stories would blow your mind and make you laugh along with him.

Dave was preceded by both his parents, Ronald and Barbara Holly; brothers, Stephen and Scott; son-in-law, Thomas Lazor. He is survived by his wife, Zia Holly; children, Erica (Doug), Alissa (Tom), Devan (Prescilla) and Adele (Gabriel); five grandchildren, Evan, Ava, Sophia, Alexander and Ivan. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
