Obituary of William Francis Masek

William Francis Masek from Crestview, Florida passed away on July 28, 2024. He was 74 years old.  William was born on June 8, 1950, to William and Patricia Masek in Queens, NY. He joined the US Air Force in 1968 and spent 22 years serving our country. William retired as a SMsgt from Minot AFB, ND in 1990. He worked for Sears, Roebuck and Co. for a short time before joining the company E-Systems. William dedicated 20 years to E-Systems and retired in 2011 from Eglin AFB, FL.  He worked for a short time at Publix in Crestview, FL where he made many friends. He would make daily trips to visit even when he stopped working there.

In 1970 William married LaVonne Masek. They have been happily married for 54 years. William and LaVonne went on to have two children, William Jr. and Amy. William loved his grandchildren most of all, they are what brightened his world.

William was proceeded in death by his parents, William and Patricia Masek; sisters, Linda Ginsburg and Judith Wooten.

William is survived by his wife, LaVonne Masek; son, William Masek Jr.; daughter, Amy Masek Guy; grandsons, Gabe Masek, Devin Guy, & Peyton Guy.
