Obituary of Margaret Ann Dumbacher

Margaret “Marge,” Ann Dumbacher, 88, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. A devoted nurse in Marshall County, Kentucky, Margaret dedicated her life to the care and well-being of others, working into her mid-70s due to her unwavering passion for nursing.

Born in 1936, Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Dumbacher, and her son, James Dumbacher. She leaves behind two daughters, Margie Dumbacher and Teresa Steele, who lovingly cared for her in her final years.

Her family and friends remember her as a generous, selfless individual whose love and dedication made a lasting impact on all who knew her. Margaret's legacy continues through her five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, who will always cherish her memory and the kindness she exemplified.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s of Padua, Grand Rivers, KY on Monday, August 19, 2024, with Father Brian Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Henry’s Cemetery, Aurora, KY.

As Margaret was an avid animal lover, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Animal Allies Florida or the Humane Society of the United States in her honor.
