Obituary of Charles "Chuck" Warren Haskell, Jr
Charles "Chuck" W. Haskell, Jr., Retired Lieutenant Commander, 78, of Pensacola, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024. He was born in 1946 in Montgomery, Alabama.
Survived by Marguerite, his loving wife of 42 years, Daughter, Laurie McVay Jones; his sisters, brothers- in-law, nieces, grand nieces and nephews and very close friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael McVay.
Chuck proudly served in the US Navy from August 1963 retiring January 1987. During his service he was the Chief Aide to the Admiral of the Pacific Fleet. He also worked in Washington DC at the US Pentagon. He was assigned and traveled throughout the United States and abroad serving his Country. After his retirement, Chuck started his own Private Investigator Business.
He Served as President for the Pensacola Big Game Fishing Club for many years as well as the Commodore for Grand Lagoon Yacht Club for four years. He was always highly respected and loved by all that worked with and for him.
Chuck will be remembered for his kind, loving and witty sense of humor.
