Obituary of Victor Matthew Ostrowski

Victor Matthew Ostrowski a native of Mobile, Alabama and resident of Ft Walton Beach, Florida passed away on November 7, 2024 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Mobile, Alabama on March 3, 1948 to Ruth Powell and George Ostrowski. He graduated from McGill Institute in 1966 and The University of South Alabama in 1972 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He married his spouse Alice Edlund in 1968.

Victor was employed by the USArmy Corp of Engineers and several private contractors throughout the years focusing on Government and Commercial construction and legal matters.   He was an avid motorcyclist, both off road and street bikes. He was instrumental in starting a number of clubs and introducing novice riders to the enjoyment and competition available. He was loved and respected my many.

 Victor is survived by Alice Ostrowski; daughter, Victoria Ostrowski Cason; son, Phillip Zachary Ostrowski (Maddie); granddaughters, Chelsea Cason Butler (Will) and Brianne Cason George (Nick); sister, Melody Ostrowski Lipscomb (Richard); 2 nieces and 3 nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth & George Ostrowski; brother, Gary Ostrowski and grandmother Louise Powell.

 Victor is being cremated with disposition of cremains in Mobile and a Celebration of Life to follow at a later date.
