Obituary of Mark Steven Hoffman

Mark S Hoffman from Pensacola, FL passed away to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Dec. 17,2024.

Mark was born in Tremont IL, May 9,1960 to Wayne Hoffman and Oma Jean Floyd. He graduated from Washington Community High School and attended Illinois Central college before serving in the Army National Guard and relocating to Southern California in 1984. He successfully worked many years in the electrical wholesale business before retiring from Graybar Electric in 2016. He then moved to Pensacola, FL in 2016 with his beloved wife of 16 years Lorri Murphy to enjoy fishing, camping, baking, cooking, his home, his neighbors and his pool. He enjoyed being a dog daddy as he loved and adored his precious golden retrievers Tucker and Charlie. 

Mark is survived by his wife Lorri Murphy after spending 21 years of great memories and love for her. Also survived by his stepmother Helen Hoffman, 7 siblings John(Susan), Tim(Janet), Brenda(Rick), Paula( Roger), Mike, Ken(Kim), Angie(Tim), 2 daughters, Lindsey Carpenter and Sarah Hoffman, and 2 grandsons, Trevor and Mason, and stepson Danny Wanckel. Mark is preceded in death by his father Wayne Hoffman and mother Oma Jean Floyd.

Mark will be cremated at Family Funeral Home in Pensacola,FL and will return home to Morton IL to be laid to rest near his beloved father in Feb. 2025 (date to be announced)
