Dieter Drewing

 

Pensacola, Florida - Dieter Drewing of Pensacola, Florida, 84 died of heart failure January 6, 2025. He was born August 3, 1940 in Posen, Germany the son of Hertha Spurre Drewing and Rudolf Drewing.  

Dieter lived most of his life in New Jersey moving later to Florida. Dieter graduated from Lakewood High School, N.J Class of 1959.  He also graduated from Stockton University N.J with a Degree in Chemistry.

Dieter worked most of his adult life for Ciba-Geigy Chemical company. he started as a Lab Technician then finished his career as a Chemist in the Chemical Hazards Testing Laboratory.  

Dieter is predeceased by his parents and Lana Drewing. Surviving is his twin Heinz Drewing, Partner, Linda B.Saunders, sons Dennis Drewing, Ronald Drewing and Daughter Karen Drewing.  Dieter had one grandson, Carson.

Dieter loved family, the challenge of design and building, beer, and his sudoko puzzles.
