Obituary of James Eugene Yohe

On January 20, 2025, James Eugene Yohe entered into the presence of his Savior at the age of 81. Born on September 26, 1943, James lived a life full of love, dedication, and cherished moments that reflected his faith and devotion to his family. 

James was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Martha Yohe and Melwyn Yohe. He is survived by his devoted wife, Carol Yohe, and his loving children, Eric Yohe, Brian Yohe, and Mary Wright. 

James found joy in working with his hands and could often be found in his garage, immersed in a new project. He especially loved setting up his model trains and watching his grandchildren enjoy them. His love for his family and his faith were evident in all he did, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service to honor James’s life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in the Crowne Centre Allen Chapel, located on the campus of Pensacola Christian College at 250 Brent Lane, Pensacola, Florida. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Gideons International in memory of James. 

James will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will remain forever in the hearts of those he leaves behind, and his testimony of faith will continue to inspire those who knew him.
