When I think of Joan I always see her wearing her Gigi apron and a big smile on Wednesday nights at KidzNet. For years she would cook 150 grilled cheese sandwiches every week with Danny's help. They were always perfectly browned and the children loved them. I never see a grilled cheese sandwich without thinking of Joan. She was very special and a huge blessing to me. She has a special place in my heart.

Joan and I cheered together in high school, what a wonderful time we had. I have such sweet memories of her, she was gentle and kind to everyone, always smiling.
